This is my personal folio site, displaying a range of photographic projects that I am working on. I use both traditional black & white film as well as digital technology.. These are mostly all on-going projects that show my work-in-progess and I am still actively engaged in most of them. I hope you enjoy looking at my work!

STILLS: WW2 Pill BOXES & STATIONS (ACTIVE)
This project requires a lot of research into the locations of WW2 coastal defences, and then reqiures permission to access (if on private land) and travelling to the location.
STYLISED SQUARE FORMAT IMAGES
Images captured from different locations, and cropped to a square format then they are stylised in the digital darkroom (post production software - Adobe Lightroom) and Photoshop.
Printed on high quality museum archival papers 120x120mm
LEE FILTERS BIG STOPPER & ND GRAD FILTER
Digital Capture converted in post to Black & White. All coastal scenes / seacapes from around the coast of Britain. To create the smooth flat water and the dynamic sky I used a range of filters to increase exposure time..
VIDEOGRAPHY - NEW PERSPECTIVES
Digital technology, better software and processing power, has given me the opportunity to revisit moving image, something that I haven't done for a while. It is very useful to record my own moving research material for illustration purposes later.
I use textures for my digital sketchbook, it helps me develop concepts for abstract painting and provides reference material for art projects. My texture images cover anything that appeals to me from rust to peeling paint...
I have been visiting Dungeness over the past three years and documenting the diversity of the nature reserve. For the most part it is unchanged, but each each there are small changes, almost unnoticable. It is a fascinating place.
A PHOTOGRAPIC COLLECTION
The New Forest. I am interested in the diversity of the environment and nature. What a place of visual exploration and discovery! Living on the edge of the Forest I have the advantage of exploring both the Forest and the Jurassic Coast.
